Hamburg Express – this is who we are

Founded in Hamburg in 1976 as an international air cargo and oceanfreight shipping company, we are located in the immediate vicinity of Hamburg Airport. Thanks to our continuous growth over the years, today we have approx. 50 employees at our headquarters in Hamburg, and handle 25,000 air and ocean shipments each year for our international clientele.

We maintain a close partnership with the Lufthansa Group, Emirates Airlines and other leading air freight companies. We are thus always able to provide our customers with preferential handling and access to the transport capacities of our partner airlines, true to our motto ‘faster is better’.

Hamburg Express maintains its own warehouses at Hamburg Airport, and has its own network of agents in all global trade centres and ports around the world for smooth transport processes that benefit our customers.

We are a ‘regulated agent for air freight’, with a permit from the German Federal Aviation Office, and are certified as an AEO.
